This was the extra layout that Hostess Club members had the opportunity to make. I used all Cardstock for this layout. Colors used were Desert Sand, Autumn Teracotta, Olive, Black, and Pansy Purple. Stamps used were the new "Beware" set. I was so excited to already have a Halloween layout for this year with current pictures! Still need to journal though, can't forget that!

Extra Halloween Layout
This was the extra layout that Hostess Club members had the opportunity to make. I used all Cardstock for this layout. Colors used were Desert Sand, Autumn Teracotta, Olive, Black, and Pansy Purple. Stamps used were the new "Beware" set. I was so excited to already have a Halloween layout for this year with current pictures! Still need to journal though, can't forget that!
October Hostess Layout
I can't wait to put fall pictures on this layout! I used the Twitterpated papers with colors Chocolate, Crystal Blue, Sorbet, and Sweet Leaf. The cute little buttons come in a great variety pack from the Dimensional Elements in Color-Organic. I used the Bamboo Waxy Flax for the holes in the buttons. Waxy Flax is great to work with because it has a wax coating that helps it keep it's shape any way that you place it. Stamps used were the adorable "You're a Hoot" for the owls and the "Four Seasons" for the tree in Bamboo ink. The white space will hold a 4x6 photo perfectly.

July's Project
This layout was inspired by jeanettelynton.com She's only the creator behind Close to my Heart! There's lots of great stuff on her blog too! Colors used were Outdoor Denim, Cranberry, Bamboo, and white. I used our great white embossing powder to make the white stamping pop. Stamp used: July Word Puzzle. I made pockets for the cute little star tags by putting adhesive on only three sides of the striped pieces.

June Club layout
This month we used the Bella papers to make this layout. Color used were Creme Brulee, Hollyhock, Olive and Smokey Plum. Stamps used were Endless Friendship, Rustic Alphabet and Buttoned Together. I used layouts from the Reflections book we carry. If you don't have this book, you need to get it along with Cherish, Wishes, and Imagine. These are wonderful resources for layout and card recipes when you have a block! I need to get some photos on this layout too! It has the potential to hold 8 pictures unless you want to use one of the spots for journaling. It's hard to tell in the picture, but we stamped the flower in versamark and then used chalk to make the color pop and add shading. The technique is also on page 35 of the current catalog.
