November club layout
I love embossing, but I don't do it near enough. Now pair embossing with sparkles and snowflakes! I love the whimsical feel of the sparkly snowflakes paired with the adorable pictures of Kylie and her daddy! Colors used are Vineyard Berry, Twilight, Desert Sand, and Colonial White. I got my inspiration from the November stamp of the month layout in the current catalog. This month's with the snowman is too cute! I couldn't spare many of the photos of them playing so I printed them in wallet size so they'd all fit. I used my cricut teardrop cartridge for the "frosted." For the stitching, I used the Simple Stitches stamp set. It's a must have since I seem to use it all the time.

Halloween Layout
Sorry that I've been a slacker of a poster! I promise to do better. I have been working on several projects this weekend that I promise to post soon. I can't wait to show you the Perfect Day Workshop layouts, you will love them! I finally got to play with our new clear album and it's so much fun. That will be another workshop soon!
Anyway about this layout....I love the Creepy cobwebs stamp! That huge web is fun and a little tricky to do, but I can show you exactly how! I used Desert sand, Pansy Purple, and Goldrush. I got the idea from a recent Becky Higgins sketch in CK. The little pics are 3x3 except for the few that pop out when I didn't want to trim out a key feature. So a good example of not having to always follow the rules!
I went to a Christmas Bazaar this weekend in Harrodsburg and met some fun new scrapbookers. Hopefully, some of them will join us soon!

Sept Extra layout w/rub ons
Sept Hostess Project
Colors used are Indian Corn Blue, Honey, Autumn Teracotta, and Cocoa. I used the dry embossing technique and sanded the raised images. The flowers were stamped on the back side and then embossed with the stylus. Stamps used were Be True and this month's promo set Friendship Alphabet. I used staz on ink for stamping on my photos.

Family File
So I've been reading Photo Freedom by Stacy Julian to try to help me get organized. She's great! She helps you get out of the mold of chronological scrapbooking and actually get pages done! So one of the things that she suggests is to have a family file with each members' name and have notebooks around the house so when someone says something that you want to record, you just write it down and file it for when you can use it. I'm going to offer this as a workshop for $16. I used the My Acrylix Storage box with the Caprice papers with Crystal Blue Cardstock. Stamps used were Hodge Podge Alphabet and Tiny Typewriter. I used the Cricut Fabulous Finds for "Our Words." Now that I'm ready to record all the funny things that Kylie says, I'm starting to notice to record and I'm actually writing it down! For instance, last night, Kylie said, "Mom come snuggle with me. I want to hold you." Those moments really are priceless.

Meeting Bella
I must admit that I can be a girlie girl at times! I love the combo of pink and black, especially when there is a precious baby to pair it with! This is my niece, Bella. Cleaning out my stash again and had some left over polka dot bulk paper from the Silhouette collection. Colors used are Baby Pink and Colonial White. Stamps are Western Flourishes, Simple Stitches, Tiny Typewriter and Today's Date. I used my cricut Opposites Attract for Bella. Journaling was created with the CTMH font Delighted.
To celebrate National Stamping Month again, I will be offering this layout in addition to the Laid Back layout to make at my house this Wednesday from 6-9pm. Layout is $5 and you get four adorable pewter charms to use on this page or another. A charm is shown on the flower and tied around a letter on the layout. Spots are limited for this one since I only have 5 kits so be sure to RSVP.
Oldie but goodie
To Celebrate National Stamping Month, I'm doing some extra layouts this month. I've had this bulk paper for a long time and I still love it so here's a free layout for my hostess club members this Wednesday night at my house. Not a member? No problem, you can stop by too and complete the layout for $3. I used the Laid Back papers and Dutch Blue and Sunflower cardstock. These papers were perfect for our spring break trip last March. Stamps used were Do Nothing and August Word Puzzle. RSVP since paper kits are limited.

Scatter Sunshine
This is August's hostess club layout. I used the bright colors of summer from the Whoops A Daisy papers and Hydrangea and Watermelon Cardstock. I used the White Daisy ink to make a few flowers pop on the page. I love the liquid glass to adhere clear buttons and you don't have glue showing through. I used staz on ink to stamp the word "play" onto the photo.

Serendipity Workshop
July Hostess Club Layout
I love scrapbooking pictures that just took place! It somehow makes me feel not so behind. Colors used are Outdoor Denim, Cranberry, Honey, and White Daisy. I first used the CTMH create a shade pearl paint. It's hard to tell in the photos, but the paint has kind of a sheen. I used the stipple brush to distress with. The stars were embossed with Cranberry embossing powder. Stamps used were Playful Flourishes, Vintage USA, and Let Freedom Ring. The photos were all 4x6. I'm going to have replace Blake's picture! He somehow got red ink on his forehead! Inspiration for this layout was from a scrapbook ad.
Simple Cards
Here are some cards that I made for my sister's birthday gift. They are simple cards inspired by another CTMH consultant Christine. Colors used are sweet leaf, blush, petal, buttercup, and ocean. There were tons of stamps used, so I won't try to list them all. I think I might try to offer this as a workshop.
